BizTalk Business Activity Monitoring (BAM)

Integrated BAM Portal
If you have used BizTalk BAM functionality for your applications; BizTalk 360 will automatically pick up those configurations and display it. There is no necessity to do any additional configurations. The home screen lists all the BAM view’s currently configured in the environment and it list all the BAM databases configured.
Searching your BAM Activity
The integrated BAM portal comes with a powerful query builder that allows you to query the BAM data seamlessly. A BAM view can have one or more activities; Activity search functionality allows users to query the activity data.
View BAM Databases Information
As a BizTalk Administrator, it is important for you to keep an eye on the size of database data and log files. In BizTalk360 the BAM databases screen displays the list of BAM databases for that particular environment and some properties of the database such as data file size, log file size and so on.
BAM View – Activities Time Window
Are you are viewing the activity time window information by using the command line BAM management tool bm.exe and passing the right set of arguments? BizTalk360 makes this process simpler and seamless for you by bringing the information right into the integrated BAM portal screen. The activities time window defines the time frame for how long the BAM data will reside in the active BAMPrimaryImport database.
BAM Security
BizTalk360 backs the security infrastructure provided by BizTalk server to access any BAM related data. This gives the maximum protection and it respects the existing BAM security setup. It is important to make sure the BAM data is protected, as it may contain some sensitive information.
